About the Role:

The role is client facing and they are looking for a motivated and skilled individual to join the fast-growing team as an audit senior. The chosen individual should be self-motivated, determined, ambitious and is able to multitask and complete tasks within time limits and strict deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Principally accountable for conclusion of planning
  • Preparation of Information Request & Assignment Terms Letter
  • Discussion with manager/partner to improve preparation
  • Accountable for preliminary drafting of financial statements & communicating with corporation tax department
  • Main on-site/remote contact for client, accountable for building & improving client relationships
  • Running on-site/remote audit activity, guaranteeing obedience to budget
  • Accountable for informing Manager/Partner of any concerns, possible variations from budget or possible expansions to scope of work
  • Dealing with complicated fields of audit file
  • Delivery of audit areas ready for evaluation to Partner & Manager
  • Accessible to trainee staff members to respond to questions, improve their ability & assess their work
  • Record adjusting & unadjusting journals
  • Accountable for revising client consistently on development & outstanding info
  • Process final agreed adjusting journals into the accounts
  • Primarily accountable for providing a clean file to the Manager ready for final analysis
  • Liable for making last alterations to accounts ready for Partner/Manager evaluation
  • Accountable in general for clearing review points
  • Liable for finishing assessment accounts for Juniors & Semi-Seniors
  • Accountable for planning of Letter of Rep & Management Letter

 

Requirements:

  • Capability to multitask & carry out assignments within time limits & deadlines.
  • Participation in monthly audit training
  • Supporting professional/technical principles, specifically proper use of software & established auditing procedures
  • Accountability for tutoring junior workforce in advisor groups
  • Participation in running extra-curricular activities encouraged
  • Attendance at discussions with clients is encouraged where feasible, both at developing & closing stages
  • Attendance with partner at ad hoc meetings is encouraged where feasible, to improve education and progress
  • Driving personal growth
  • Carry out mentoring meetings of junior group
  • Challenging status quo (e.g., challenging established but possibly unproductive procedures)
  • Ensuring understanding with service offerings
