About the Role:
The role in question is for an audit semi senior, who will already be working towards either an ACA or ACCA qualification. The chosen individual will be reporting directly to Audit Managers and Audit Seniors, depending on the situation. You will be assisting with audit assignments at the client’s site, as well as producing summaries based on financial statements, client business issues, systems, and controls.

Responsibilities:
- Work in tandem with clients and relevant stakeholders, ensuring that managers/seniors are kept informed of any developments
- Aid in the preparation of management accounts
- Prepare summaries which detail financial statements, client business issues, systems, and controls
- Produce the quarterly VAT returns
- Take part in audit assignments at client sites
- Preparation of the statutory accounts as well as draft tax computations
Requirements:
- Individual should be working towards either an ACA or ACCA qualification, as well as have some experience with audit file preparation, accounts, and corporate tax experience
- Understanding of double entry accounting and bookkeeping
- Able to prepare statutory and management accounts for UK entities
- Experienced with MS Office, ideally at an advanced level in Excel
- Can complete smaller audit assignments by themselves
- Ideally possess some VAT knowledge
- Some understanding of QuickBooks, Xero, Alphatax, CCH, CaseWare and Sage is desired
